Quark — The Energy of Connection

A full day of multiple workshops aimed to explore and experience the connection you have to yourself, and your own energy! And the way your connection and awareness of youself allows you to connect with others. 

A shared community feast around dusk.

Followed by a night of putting it all into practice on the dance floor as we get down and dirty in the dust amongst the trees, celebrating our existance and the way we CAN CONNECT through dance!

EXPECT - meditation, breathwork, eye gazing, journalling, sharing circle, energy awarness games, consent practices, contact movement, physical touch AND A DANCE FLOOR!!

SATURDAY 11 May - 10am till 9pm  (this is only a guide of times)

10am Welcome to and connect with the land/Opening Ceremony/ Intention Setting

11am Workshop spaces

12pm LUNCH - * PLEASE BRING a vegan dish to share for a potluck lunch.

1pm - More workshop spaces

5pm free time, hang, mingle , climb trees etc

6pm FEAST - catered for community/shared meal

7pm DANCE - consent on the dace floor- body language, spoken word, explore what you learned today

10 pm Closing Ceremony and PACK DOWN

LOCATION - Bigg's Scrub

10min south of Balaklava on private poperty, exact location provided upon ticket purchase

PLEASE BRING -

- VEGAN DISH to share for potluck and YOUR OWN snacks for throughout the day

- a water bottle

- a yoga mat and pillow to sit on

- a hat (and fly net, highly recommended!) and appropriate clothing to be outside in shade providerd by trees/some

- clothing you can move freely in, don't mind getting a little dusty and can layer on and off through warm and cold spells throughout the day as we move and come to stillness

- journal/ pen and paper

* please note: I am allergic to sunscreen, deodorant, collogne, perfume, body lotion, hair products that have fragrance, blah, blah...and since were outside and I'm welcoming you into my space -- I'd like to invite you to lean into being as natural as possible OR not be freshly washed upon arriving! Bluntly- body odour IS SO so damn welcome!

PROVIDED  -

- plenty of water to refil waterbottles

- hot water for cups of tea at lunch and tea time

- catered evening meal - VEGAN & GF friendly - please let me know of any other dietry requirments

A NOTE ON SAFE SPACES:  I CAN'T tell you that this space will be safe for you. Only you know what safety feels like in your body. What I can tell you is that the INTENTION is to create a space where CONSENT and your full body yes/no is valued, honoured and EXPECTED. You do not need to do anything you dont want to or feel. Meet your edges, but don't fall off the edge.

FOR THOSE WANTING TO CAMP: There is another event in the scrub the next day, staring at lunch time, please note that you're super welcome to stay over night, but you'll need to vacate before midday!
